This is, I guess, Wisconsin’s own answer to a question nobody was asking. Can a suburbia housewife make a living selling books about aliens and other weird shit? Funny thing is We reviewed Ms Hollis some time ago when she produced the thrilling webpage “Cafth Speaks” which as it turned out as not really thrilling entry in the Internet Archive after it’s demise.

Since then it would seem that Ms. Hollis embarked on other useful pursuits. You know! Like accounting. Now of course, The Odd Emperor has nothing against accountants nor any useful vocation.
Heidi sez….
Writing that book took me a mere 2 months, but it took 4 years to get it published! During that time, many established, paranormal/UFO authors who ALSO happened to be publishers, had my book manuscript with intentions to publish my book. What a waste of time that was, only to be told repeatedly things like, “There is no such thing as Shadow People®!” “That sounds like science fiction!” “There are NO negative aliens!” and “Who does this girl think she is?!”
Ah, well. Writing a book doesn’t really establish proof about any particular subject. One needs to provide (you know!) Evidence and all that happy nonsense.

Same with the “Hat Man” I suppose.
“From the author who discovered Hat Man® and warned you about Shadow People®—now learn more details about this ultimate THREAT! Victims worldwide have reported seeing this man peering into their homes, their bedrooms, their cribs, their cars, their lives, and even—into their souls!”
OK, I get it that a lot of people believe in the bogeyman man. And that’s a deep- deep dive, let me tell you!
That being said? Most humans seem to grow out of such ideas after becoming adults. Bogeyman beliefs are interesting because they are nearly universal in human society. In fact an entire movie series was made about the Bogeyman; “Babu,”called “John Wick” and starring Keanu Reeves. I’m guessing Heide doesn’t actually imagine Keanu Reeves stalking her and peeking in her window. Or perhaps she does?

She also wrote a comic about The Hat Man.
Of course she has a number of other titles. “ her acclaimed book, Jesus Is No Joke, is based on personal and on-the-level encounters with Jesus and visits to both Heaven and Hell.” And “Picture Prayers” the personal and true story of one young woman’s struggle to pray with intention, sincerity and depth.
I guess we can see where this is all going!
She’s also on Medium

All that aside, I can’t say I have anything against Heidi. I suppose she’s sincere about seeing evil hat men and talking with Jesus, or perhaps Keanu Reeves. There’s nothing really wrong with any of that. A fertile imagination is a good thing! I guess the only problem I have is when one believes everything they imagine is real.
But, that’s why I’m the Odd Emperor!
