From some Czech model–as imagined by Kal Korff
“Dobry den. In my language, which is Czech, this means “good morning”My name is Martina Tycova, and this is my first series of articles ever published in English, in the West, in about three years. The last article I helped write in the English language was on the subject of Bigfoot.
Currently, I am working on a series of books in English as well, but more about them later.
Here I am again, back to the subject of the “paranormal” only this time things are much more serious than some guy running through the woods wearing a gorilla suit.
The subject I will be focused on for quite sometime ion this extensive article series is the web site UFO Watchdog.”
How very sad! This article’s been pulled!
Odd:
I will now channel the spirit of Kal K. Korff:
“How DARE YOU challenge me! YOU are obviously a LIAR!!
I am now going to DEVOTE FIVE episode of my new series SECRET WARS to EXPOSING your FALSEHOODS!”
Whew… that’s all I could handle.

Hey, I wish he would! Then perhaps I could sell some advertising and put this site on a paying basis. The Seekrit wars of the Odd Emperor! Has a kind of ring to it.
The word around the MSN UFO forum, ten long years ago, was that Korff had a planet-sized ego; I never got a chance to ascertain that for myself, because I don’t think he ever acknowledged my existence in that particular venue, although his “orientation” ostensibly fell within my area, since I was “science section leader.” (i.e., pelicanist skepti-loon, by default).
I recall, one day, I was having a mild disagreement with the forum manager, and she really wanted to get away, so she kept telling me how I was missing Stephen Basset and Korff “duking it out” in the forum chatroom. Being deeply disinterested at that moment for whatever reason, I never went to check it out. Although I did sit in on a Korff chat or two, the details of which I do not recall. It was that memorable.
You should have been there when I was sparring with one of Sitchin’s promoters – it was carnage. Fun carnage. Being able to type [CLASSIFIED – EYES ONLY] WPM has distinct advantages when one is debating in a chatroom. 🙂
Oh man! I’ve had a time with Stichian people. When I was about ten the Von Daniken wave was blowing over woo-woovil. I remember how exciting that was. I recall a book about that time called “Crash go the Chariots” which debunked Von Daniken piece by piece. Man was I pissed! But the author of that book was right Just like Stichian, Von Daniken just pounded out a bunch of half baked nonsense and sold it to the unwashed public, and they fell for it. I know where these people are coming from and what can I say? There is no way to break it to them gently.
I’d like to get into it with Korff too, one of these days–he sounds like a complete trip! And I really dislike people who pretend to be something that they are not.
Did you notice that he abruptly pulled the “Czech model” pieces?
Odd:
He eventually pulls all of his pieces. He is a practitioner of what I call “drive-by character assassination”. I think he believes that he can put them up there, leave them for a couple of days, and take them down, and there will be no legal ramifications as to what he said. I can assure him that he’s wrong.
The nice thing about Korff is that he’s a uniter, not a divider – virtually everyone dislikes him, and nobody respects him, across the ufological spectrum.
That’s something, I guess.

So true.
The Web is a form of publishing, even if it doesn’t seem that way to some people. If one makes a libels statement one can either retracted it (which can help but not protect one against prosecution) or, better yet, be darn certain that the statement is truthful and not defamatory. And that’s just in case it does end up in civil court.
What I wonder about is, what’s in it for him? I mean, sure! Debunk if you think you need to but, why unnecessarily antagonize people?
Of course, a couple of people have asked me that very same question. 😉
