There has been objection to the plans however, with many local residents voicing their concerns that the plans are a waste of money. Mayor Marcos Irizarry’s has responded however, stating that whilst his government would allow the building permits to be put in place they would fall short of providing financial assistance. The area has been a hotspot for UFO sightings for several years now, and seems a logical area to build such an airport if this is a chosen destination for visitors from another planet.

The new airport is estimated to cost around $100,000 but could be an excellent investment for the area if it attracts holidaymakers and UFO enthusiasts. Let’s just hope that the arrival procedures are in place for the aliens if they do decide to land, as baggage losses and security delays are sure to not go down well after their many millions of miles of travelling!
