See you completely miss the point. (I knew you would.) I don’t have any problem with people being proud of their heritage or their ethnicity although the latter is kind of silly. You really don’t have any control over which race you are born in. Why not be proud of things that matter like what kind of person you are?
No what burns me is that these girls are furthering a bigoted, outmoded, obsolete idea of racial purity when no such thing exists in the US to start with. Bigotry is based on fear of personal inadequacy, not pride. I find that irritating and I find your opinion irritating.
But you have a right to that opinion. A right that people like supporters of those two girls probably won’t defend, if it ran counter to theirs.
