I’m sure you’ve heard of Disclosure Day. It the latest Spielberg summer blockbuster and how it was going to finally blow the lid off of the question, is Humanity alone in the Galaxie?

Well, I can tell you. It doesn’t!

Don’t get me wrong. Disclosure Day is a good movie! It’s full of that Spielberg Charm with a booming John Williams soundtrack. What’s not to like? Well, a lot of Saucer Fiends seemed to think the plot of the film was real would divulge real (like in In Real Life) information about space aliens on Earth.

Hate to say this, it’s just an adventure film. Sure there’s aliens in it, sorta. Sure there is a throwaway shot of Jacky Gleason viewing alien bodies. Sure there is a “real alien” in a wheelchair… not to give too much away.

The film stars \u00a0Emily Blunt<\/a>,\u00a0Josh O’Connor<\/a>, and\u00a0Colin Firth<\/a>. All of them do a good job of depicting, well – characters. The plot is mostly a lot of topical UFO stuff all mashed together and given a brisk stirr. It’s not really revealing, unless one doesn’t follow the subject. This film has everything. Abductions, military and corporate coverup. Telepathy, telepathic control. Alien artifacts, even professional wrestlers. No, Jessie Ventura is not in this one though. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hey! It’s a Spielberg flick, and a pretty good one too. Great for wasting $50 at your local theater. It’s not He Man and the Masters of the Universe, which also had aliens. It’s not The Hail Mary Project, which also had aliens. What is it with 2026? All blockbusters have aliens!

Except The Odyssey I suppose.
