This is a long story, but well worth the read. It is the true story of a girl
\nwho was brought up in the repressive Church of Scientology. It would be
\nbad enough if it were an isolated incident. But is is not. It has happened,
\nand is still happening to many, many Sea Org Children. Please share this
\nstory with as many people as you can, so that we may finally end the
\nabuses of the Church of Scientology.<\/p>\n

Although this story was told back in 2001, it is just as valid today
\nbecause the abuses are still happening.<\/p>\n

DECLARATION OF ZOE WOODCRAFT<\/p>\n

I, Zoe Woodcraft, declare as follows:<\/p>\n

1. I am 16 years of age.<\/p>\n

2. The statements herein are of my own personal knowledge and if called
\nupon as a witness, I can testify competently thereto.<\/p>\n

3. In 1986, when I was two years old, my parents and 15-year-old brother
\njoined the Sea Organization at the Flag Land Base in Clearwater, Florida. My
\nseven-year-old sister and myself were put into the care of the Cadet
\nOrganization at this time. My family and I lived at a building on U.S.
\nHighway 19 called the “QI” which was an acronym for Quality Inn. This
\nbuilding was once a Quality Inn hotel. The cadet organization was located
\nthere.<\/p>\n

4. The room we were assigned to live in was very small, approximately
\n12’X 20′. It was one room and one bath; very shabby, infested with
\ncockroaches and smelling of mold. All five of us were in this room so it was
\nvery cramped and nearly unlivable.<\/p>\n
