{"id":1963,"date":"2011-10-24T14:21:43","date_gmt":"2011-10-24T18:21:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oddempire.org\/weblog\/?p=1963"},"modified":"2011-10-24T20:37:07","modified_gmt":"2011-10-25T00:37:07","slug":"tourists-film-alien-in-the-amazon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oddempire.com\/weblog\/2011\/10\/24\/tourists-film-alien-in-the-amazon\/","title":{"rendered":"Tourists film &#8216;alien&#8217; in the Amazon"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/resources0.news.com.au\/images\/2011\/10\/24\/1226174\/935588-alien.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"316\" height=\"237\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>BIZARRE footage that appears to show a small alien-shaped figure standing next to a flash of light in the jungle has been released.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The video is believed to have been taken by two British tourists during a trip to the Mamaus region of the Amazon rainforest before being passed on to the Brazilian government,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/sol\/homepage\/news\/3886122\/Alien-filmed-in-Brazil-rainforest.html\"><em>the Sun<\/em><\/a>\u00a0reports.<\/p>\n<p>Paranormal writer Michael Cohen said the footage may be among the best proof that aliens exist.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is highly compelling footage that will be hard to discredit,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It comes from an area known for experiencing intense UFO activity. It is rather apparent that aliens are interested in this region due to its biological diversity.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Cohen said the area was the focus of an investigation by the Brazilian government and the army was sent in to monitor an alien presence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Brazilian government denied that there was an Operation Prato for years before conceding it did occur and releasing large amounts of files associated with it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The footage will be used in a Hollywood movie.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.heraldsun.com.au\/lifestyle\/the-other-side\/tourists-film-alien-in-the-amazon\/story-e6frfhk6-1226174931071\">\u00a0[[[MORE]]]<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; BIZARRE footage that appears to show a small alien-shaped figure standing next to a flash of light in the jungle has been released.
